C Non-mercosur with visa
The following dispositions are to be followed only by international students of NON-MERCOSUR countries who require a visa to enter to Argentina. http://www.migraciones.gov.ar/accesos/institucional.php (Go to the Entry/Exit Requirements below; then go to the Visa Regulations. Finally, select your country).
All documents written in a foreign language (with the exception of Potuguese) must be translated into Spanish and the translation must be certified by any Association of Sworn Translators of Argentina.
1. Send to UAP:
a. Copy of all the pages of the passport.
b. Original Birth Certificate legalized or with the Apostille (only for students under 18)
2. Once you receive the Entry Permit, submit to the Argentinean Consulate:
a. Passport valid and in use.
b. Original Birth Certificate certified or with an “Apostille" http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostilla.
c. Criminal Records: if you are older than sixteen (16) years old when you enter the country, you need a clean criminal record of your country or the countries you have lived in the last five (5) years, issued by National Police Department / FBI (for USA).
d. Prove economical means to pay food and lodging in the country.
e. In your case, prove that you have the required knowledge of the language to start studying.
f. Know that you enter the country for the purpose of studying.
g. Pay the services repayment fee established by the rules in force. On the date $600 (two hundred) subject to the disposition of the National Management of Migrations.
h. What the Consulate might consider necessary.
